Muir Woods Visitor Center and Pathways

JNRA sited the ranger station and visitor center to frame views into the Muir Woods redwood forest and to clarify the entryway for visitors; the new building displaced parking spaces rather than the forest. Associated developments, including the entry plaza, interpretive displays, outdoor classrooms, parking lots, pathways, and boardwalks, accommodate around 1 million visitors each year while protecting, enhancing, and expanding the native habitat.
