Miller Knox Regional Shoreline Park

East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) is studying the hydrological feasibility of a tidal connection to the existing lagoon at Miller Knox Regional Shoreline Park. JNRA developed conceptual site/landscape plans that balance public access, expanded recreational uses, and habitat improvements with ecological engineering plans. Ecological enhancements include the creation of a beach; an emergent salt marsh; seasonal freshwater riparian and upland habitat. Sports fields, barbecue and picnic areas, playgrounds, waterfront promenade, boardwalks, and other active recreational opportunities are focused away from these natural areas.
