Historic David Glass House

This 19th-century Italianate farm house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was moved to a creekside site next to San Ramon’s historic Forest Home Farms and converted into a museum. The formal garden within an orchard setting, adapted from the original, uses plants available in early nursery catalogues and invokes the agricultural heritage of the San Ramon Valley. Native understory is restored to the creek, a wild complement to the genteel house-museum.
