Blackberry Creek Residence

This half-acre creekside urban garden includes a self-sustaining riparian ‘wildland’ within a mature bay laurel forest and complementary cultivated gardens with patios and decks at the residence. The creek banks and channel were cleared of invasive fire-prone exotic vegetation, the native understory habitat restored, firebreaks established, and wildlife is flourishing.
