John Northmore RobertsJohn N. Roberts, ASLA, the founder and Principal of the firm, has been a leader in the urban design and public arts renaissance in Berkeley, and is widely recognized for his work in natural system restoration, community design, and residential garden design.  He has been in practice since 1972, teaches frequently at U.C. Maki GrossnickMaki E. Boyle, ASLA, has been with the firm since Fall, 2013 after completing a MLA at the University of California, Berkeley for which she produced a Design Guide for the Inyo National Forest. She also holds a BS in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University with a Concentration in Architecture. Ms. Grossnick has eight plus years of experience in Landscape Architecture and Project Development. She has successfully managed a variety of complex public and private projects at all levels of design and construction. As a steward of the natural environment, Ms. Grossnick balances her time between designing ecologically sensitive places, teaching and tutoring in the Bay area, and rock climbing in the Eastern Sierras.email resumé PDF

 

Daniela CorvillonDaniela Pena Corvillon, ASLA, joined the firm in 2013 after completing the MLA Environmental Planning Program at UC Berkeley. Miss Corvillon has been registered Architect in Chile since 2008, she successfully she managed a variety of art, landscape and architectural projects in her own firm. During her studies at UC Berkeley, Miss Corvillon focused on the integration of local cultural values into environmental restoration projects, particularly in regards to water resources. In addition Miss Corvillon had been a teaching assistant at UC Berkeley in the Architectural Engineering Course and Undergraduate Landscape Studio. Among her many interests is a better quality of life and sustainability. She is an environmental activist, a creative artist, and a plant lover. Ester ClarkEster Clark joined the firm in 2012. After ten years of administrative experience at various bay area firms, she now serves as the office manager and bookkeeper for our collective of design offices. She has a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the Academy of Art, and spent many years working with Steelcase, Inc. building their extensive library of furniture symbology thru CAD support. In addition, she brings her experience working with various firms in home staging, interior design, architecture and non-profits. She is accompanied by her companion Biscuit, and spends time practicing on her skills as an artist, pianist, baker and crafter, as well as attending bay area cultural events. email
