STREET AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS
The western entry to the Broadway Tunnel in San Francisco is being transformed with a tree-planted median, landscaped sidewalk improvements bracketing the tunnel road, and sidewalk improvements at the cable-car stop on Hyde Street above the tunnel. Concept plans were sponsored by the neighborhood organization, Russian Hill Neighbors with implementation documents by City staff.
Completion expected 2010.
