ARCHAEOLOGICAL EDUCATION FACILITYThe in-house archaeologists at the Presidio of San Francisco have moved to a permanent home at the site of the original El Presidio, near the Officers' Club at the Main Post. In addition to renovating four historic buildings to create offices, classrooms, displays, and storage, this project improves the outdoor compound among the buildings, adding universally accessible facilities for archaeological programs and processing. Work delayed until the adjacent Officers' Club is finished.
